Mark,I really don’t know if it is threaded or not. When it was shipped to me, the forks and stem were still on the bike and I never took them off. I like mine too, I just wonder how an old school would feel in comparison.

Incidently, I bought the exact same bike a couple years later from Dunhams (first year of Pacific) and I hated it. It rode terribly no matter how many times I tried to tune it up.
