There is a noticeable difference in quality when comparing the models of Mongoose sold in stores like Walmart compared to what you might find in a higher-end bike shop. Not that I had many bikes to compare my ’96 to,(only my old huffy pro thunder), but it is so light and quick and really responds quickly to every turn when I ride it.
